New Patients
Your First Visit
Welcome to Southern Star Dental! We are happy to offer patients from Allen, Plano, and surrounding areas. During your first visit, our team needs a little extra time to get to know you and your beautiful smile. Patients should plan for their appointment to last at least 90 minutes. We’ll start by taking diagnostic x-rays and digital images, and follow that with a tooth-by-tooth evaluation and gum pocket measurements. We will thoroughly clean your teeth, and then, Dr. Moreland will take time to develop a treatment plan specific to your smile.

Before your first visit, we invite you to take a few moments to fill out your new patient information forms. These forms allow our team to get to know you better, and downloading and completing this new patient documentation prior to your visit provides superior comfort and convenience. Take a few minutes to review the documents below at your earliest convenience.

We Take your insurance!
Dr. Moreland is proud to work with all PPO insurance networks. Our friendly team is happy to file all of the necessary paperwork and help you truly understand your insurance benefits. To find out more about your policy, feel free to contact our Allen office, with your insurance card handy! For our patients with no dental insurance, we offer an In-Office Discount Plan.
